Booking Notes Specific to Sharjah
The van itself doesn’t change crossing from Dubai into Sharjah — what shifts is transit distance, road conditions on the main connecting routes, and a couple of local details worth knowing before you book:
No border, but real transit distance
There’s no checkpoint between Dubai and Sharjah, so there’s nothing to clear on arrival — but Al Sajaa and Hamriyah Free Zone sit noticeably further from our Al Quoz base than the Industrial Areas closest to the boundary. We factor that extra distance into the quoted transit time rather than treating every Sharjah address as equidistant.
Al Ittihad Road and Emirates Road congestion
Both main connecting routes between Dubai and Sharjah see heavy congestion during the morning and evening commute, when a large share of Sharjah’s workforce is travelling in and out of Dubai. For time-sensitive Sharjah deliveries, we build a buffer into the route plan for trips scheduled across those windows rather than quoting a best-case, off-peak transit time.
Industrial Area numbering can be confusing on first bookings
Sharjah’s Industrial Areas are numbered rather than named, and neighbouring numbers don’t always sit next to each other on the ground. Share the plot or building number at booking, not just the Industrial Area number, so the driver isn’t left guessing on arrival.
